For over 20 years, The Pixel has always prioritized customer needs. It underpins how the agency operates, from their values and working style to their training methods. Rather than acting as a third-party consultant, The Pixel’s team instead becomes a natural extension of the client’s business.

This dedication is just one reason why The Pixel team can handle even the toughest challenges and ensure client success. Clients can not only take full advantage of new technology and processes with the Adobe Gold Solution Partner by their side, but they can also adapt to an evolving technological landscape.

Building a solid training foundation

A great customer experience begins by ensuring every team member has the skills to support client needs and the processes in place to seamlessly collaborate. A key to The Pixel’s success is its rigorous onboarding and training program, the Graduate Developer Training Program, which covers the partner’s operations and critical software, such as Adobe Commerce.

The Pixel’s onboarding program is designed for new employees, particularly those with limited or no experience prior to joining the agency. Like most onboarding programs, it begins with a company overview, introductions to key personnel, and setups for essential software. The Adobe partner then focuses on creating the knowledge base critical for successful client engagements through courses, instruction, and hands-on experience.

The program takes an Agile approach to training, and upon program completion, even those unfamiliar with the Agile project management methodology can fully embrace it and seamlessly flow into the team’s sprint-based work style.

Comprehensive and continuous

In the program, each recruit takes part in a series of Adobe Commerce courses provided by Adobe, beginning with the introductory levels and advancing to development fundamentals. Meanwhile, recruits learn company-specific processes and platforms and master the agency’s branching strategies to ensure all employees use the same cohesive workflow.

The Pixel’s training includes more than coursework and instruction. Employees also get valuable hands-on experience via the agency’s innovative Project Simulator Environment, where junior developers receive a Sprint Board with development and support tickets that they’re tasked with addressing. This real-world preview of day-to-day operations allows each recruit to apply their learning from previous training and fully embrace the team’s operational style — all under the support and guidance of senior team members.

In addition to the initial training, The Pixel promotes ongoing professional growth and development through its continuous education programs. The agency provides dedicated study time and personalized learning paths that include Adobe certification programs and access to subject matter experts. The Pixel also encourages employees to have a curious mindset and regularly engage in retrospectives and code reviews. Activities like these help teams work more collaboratively and offer employees additional educational opportunities.

Dedicated to customer success

The learning-centric culture at The Pixel is critical to the agency’s success. Through comprehensive training and development opportunities throughout their careers, employees gain the necessary skills to deliver the highest level of client services.

By embracing an Agile approach to onboarding and training, providing ample learning opportunities, and fostering a collaborative environment, The Pixel addresses its clients’ evolving needs, cultivates innovation, and grows its business.
