Workfront Specialization Coming in Q4
An Adobe Workfront Specialization will be available in the coming weeks. The criteria will be similar for a all Adobe specializations – a designated number of certified individuals on staff and several customer deployment references (that Adobe verifies).
Please note that because Adobe Specialization* has different criteria than how Workfront validated its partners’ technical expertise, all partners who wish to achieve an Adobe Workfront specialization will need to apply through the specialization process. In other words, no previous organization level Workfront validation will be carried over for any partner organization.
The Difference Between Workfront Certification and Workfront Specialization
As a reminder, certifications* recognize an individual’s technical expertise in an Adobe application. As such, companies do not receive certification, only people. A Certified Professional indicates this person is ready for supervised work. A Certified Expert indicates this person can work independently on client projects and can mentor less experienced colleagues. A Certified Master indicates this person can lead complex projects and mentor team members.
Adobe Specializations are an organizational recognition of technical expertise in an Adobe application. This means organizations can achieve a specialization, but people cannot. Specializations are achieved by Adobe application and by region, meaning an organization can have an Adobe Analytics Specialization in EMEA, but not in APAC, for example.
