Adobe Experience Manager and Workfront Connector Certification now available

Required expert-level certification for enhanced connector projects.

The Adobe Credential Program has launched a new certification required for deploying and implementing the enhanced connector for Workfront and Adobe Experience Manager. Practices which attempt to deploy and implement without certified individuals on staff may risk their customer’s existing site instance, and will not receive Adobe support until meeting the certification requirements.

Achieving this certification requires passing AD0-E906 Adobe Workfront for Experience Manager enhanced connector Expert exam. Partner solutions consultants, implementation specialists, integration specialists, developers, or architects are the intended audience for this certification.

Candidates interested in becoming certified should have experience in both Experience Manager and Workfront, and preferably be certified in one or both. Generally, it will be easier for those already certified as Experience Manager Developers to pass the exam. We recommend that qualified partners request a sandbox to practice.

At our expert guest speakers, James Cornish and Iain Wilson discussed the purpose of the certification, the challenges faced with delivering services without a certified expert, and the coverage of the exam as well as study resources.

James provided insight to the main challenge being encountered and compiled from delivering services on the connector is the risk to the AEM instance if not deployed correctly. Iain advised that the tasks skills needed for delivery (and covered in the certification exam) best suit candidates with more experience in Adobe Experience Manager.

The combination of the presentation and Q&A provided the audience with a better understanding of the scope of the certification, and the available resources to study and why this certification is required to receive support during the implementation of the Connector.
