2023.2.0 Updates for Adobe Experience Manager

The latest Adobe Experience Manager update is now available, with features that let content authors accelerate content creation, developers rapidly deliver high performing experiences everywhere, and teams deliver impactful experiences that drive conversion. The customer facing video overview, presentation, and release notes are now available for your review.

Content Velocity features help everyone create content at scale.

  • Expreience Manager Forms :
    • PRERELEASE: Headless Adaptive Forms Early Adopter Release lets developers create interactive forms accessible through API to deliver native form experiences in single-page applications, progressive web apps, and mobile applications.  Reach out to aem-forms-headless@adobe.com for more information on the Early Adopter program.
    • PRERELEASE: Fast Track Analytics for Forms is a simple and automated way to integrate Experience Manager Forms with Adobe Analytics, so that customers can access actionable insights on form performance.
    • PRERELEASE: Core Components in Sites Editor lets authors drag and drop components to create forms quickly directly in any Sites page, and use advanced features like business logic, document of record, and invoke workflows.
  • Experience Manager Assets: 
    • DASH support for Adaptive streaming in Dynamic Media is now available for NA customers for Cloud Services and SP 6.5.16 release.  DASH (Dynamic Adaptive Streaming over HHTP) is the international standard for video playback which enables better quality of service on video delivery (faster loading times, and fewer buffer counts).  Customers can now use HLS or DASH for video adaptive playback.  Watch the internal demo here.   • Experience Manager Sites
    • PRERELEASE: Content Fragment Export to Target empowers content authors to create and manage personalized variations of content directly inside of Experience Manager and lets teams personalize content in any channel using JSON offers for mobile and nontraditional channels.

High-Impact Experience features let teams create datadriven experiences that are meaningful across any journey.

  • Experience Manager Sites: 
    •  Headless GraphQL SDK updates with pagination improves query response time for developers by returning results in sub-sets as opposed to all at once.
    •  Web-optimized image delivery in GraphQL queries Improve Lighthouse and Core Web Vital scores with web-optimized WebP format.

Summit Recap

Adobe Summit was a hit with customers and partners.  The Content That Drives Performance track had over 4,600 cumulative attendees to sessions and labs, the “Beat The Buzzer” contest and labs resulted in hundreds of participants experiencing Adobe Experience Manager next generation composable services hands on.
