Adobe Commerce Expands Support Window
Adobe announces expanded support window, updated Adobe Commerce Lifecycle Policy, and new 2023 Release Schedule.
To support the ever more mission critical needs of Adobe Commerce customers and the durability of partner innovations, we are enhancing the Adobe Commerce Software Lifecycle Policy and release cadence. Updates include:
- Expanded support window: Customers on 2.4.4 and later releases now receive 3 years of quality and security patch support, starting from the release general availability date. This support currently covers both PHP and the core Adobe Commerce application.
- Enhanced security: Adobe has increased the number of security patch releases planned for this year from 3 to 4 to help customers stay more secure.
- New release calendar: To accelerate innovation and improve total cost of ownership, there will be one core application release per year with new capabilities delivered as composable SaaS services that can be added at any time.
