Adobe Workfront Summer Migrations — Enablement and Resources
We are moving a lot Workfront information to different locations this summer! Here’s your guide on how to access all the content you need.
Workfront One to Experience League.
The migration from Workfront One to Experience League is now complete, and this link will take you directly to all the Adobe Workfront content that was previously held in Workfront One.
Our current priority is packaging up the new Experience League Tutorials into Courses, which will replace how we bundled training for Learning Programs and Paths on Workfront One. The majority of Workfront One content is available and redirecting here.
Links to Workfront One Guides are still available but will not be redirected to Experience League. However, these guides will eventually be converted to Adobe Digital Learning System (ADLS) Spotlights that will be available only via a paid service. We encourage you to download any of the guides now for your own reference and to share with customers.
All certification learning paths on the Solution Partner Program Portal have been updated, with a few remaining learning paths that will be available on Adobe Experience League soon.
As with all migrations, we have a team fixing any issues as they arise. Should you find any broken links or need further support, please reach out to WFCommunitySupport@adobe.com. We thank you for your patience during the transition.
Adobe Business Platform and Unified Experience.
By migrating Workfront customers to Adobe Business Platform, they will now have one login experience, no longer using multiple URLs and logins. The Adobe Business Platform provides users with a single place to navigate to and access every Workfront instance and environment, as well as any other Adobe products they have purchased and to which they have been provided access.
The unified experience will use the Adobe primary navigation to get to all Workfront instances and environments, including the waffle product menu, to move between other Adobe Business Platform products.
Custom Workfront URLs – my.company.workfront.com will have re-directs set up. Any existing bookmarks or emails with links to Workfront will re-direct to the Adobe Business Platform. Customers will no longer be able to access Workfront outside the Adobe Business Platform once migrated.
Custom branding – this is NOT supported for any Adobe Business Platform products. This means customers will lose their custom branding on login screens, icons for the “Home” menu, and the icon for the profile badge. We are aware this will be disappointing for some of your customers, so please make sure you discuss this with them in plenty of time before they migrate.
Authentication – Users will be provisioned in the Identity Management System (IMS), a component of the Adobe Business Platform, and authentication settings in System Setup will no longer be necessary for system administrators.
SAML 2.0 – Users will be provisioned in the Identity Management System, and the SAML 2.0 checkbox in System Setup Preferences will no longer appear.
We have already started provisioning net new customers and migrating existing customers into the Adobe Admin Console. You can learn more about Adobe Workfront in the Admin Console here.
Join us at our Workfront webinar on 31 August to find how what this means for you and your customers. If you can’t join us live, the recording will be uploaded to the Solution Partner Portal shortly after the webinar.
