Learn about the goals of the Adobe Workfront betas and how Adobe selects beta participants
With so many new features and integrations coming out of Adobe Workfront, we are looking to our partner ecosystem to participate in our product beta programs. The primary goal of the Adobe Digital Experience Alpha & Beta Program is to learn from the experience and feedback of our customers and partners how we can refine the product and deliver a delightful experience. This program helps the Adobe Digital Experience product development team validate the user experience and value during the software development cycle by leveraging alpha tests and beta tests during key milestones.
Some of the additional goals of the program are to:
- Review documentation
- Gather customer and partner references
- Get early feedback for future releases
- Dry run our go-to-market efforts
- Ensure a smooth launch by identifying and documenting key issues
Examples of the recent or currently ongoing betas:
- Reporting Canvas beta
- Agile Boards Connected Flow beta
- Marketing Financial Management beta
- Adobe Workfront in the Adobe Business Platform Migrations beta
At a high-level, we select partners through the Adobe Experience Cloud Feedback Panel based on their ability to evaluate the new product features in an environment that can address reliability, scalability, and usability issues that our engineering team cannot feasibly implement or replicate. Beta participants are further selected as a result of recommendations from Product Management, Partner Managers, and the Adobe Workfront Enablement Team and evaluations against each project's specific selection criteria.
