We are shifting the End of Support (EOS) date for our 2.3 line to September 8, 2022. This will give merchants additional time to upgrade. We encourage you to prepare for this release by joining our beta program and working with your merchants to upgrade as soon as possible. Customers who stay current with the latest versions are best protected against security vulnerabilities, remain PCI compliant, and gain access to new features that enable business growth. 

We are adding two security patch releases in August – 2.3.7-p4 and 2.4.3-p3 – to our 2022 release calendar to help merchant stay secure and PCI compliant as they transition to 2.4.4.

We will be providing new paid extended support options that give customers on 2.3.7 and 2.4.0-2.4.3 more time to upgrade to 2.4.4 or higher. This option will ensure that merchants continue to receive quality and security updates for one year after these versions reach end of support.

Now is the time to start planning for the 2.4.4 upgrade with your clients. We have developed the following resources to support their transition:

• 2.4 Upgrade Guide: a comprehensive guide of the steps and best practices to follow when upgrading to an Adobe Commerce 2.4 version.
• Upgrade Compatibility Tool: a free tool that analyzes the incompatibilities between your current version and the version you’re upgrading to in just minutes.
• 2.4 Upgrade Workshop: a technical workshop that walks through the 2.4 upgrade process. If you weren’t able to join the workshop, a recording will be available on demand via the Solution Partner Portal soon.
• Beta Program: as mentioned above, this is a partner-exclusive program that gives you early access to beta code so that you can prepare for the next upgrade. 2.4.4 beta code is available now – sign up here to participate!
