Get Started as a Marketer in the Solution Partner Program
Explore using Portal resources to promote your company, build your skills with training and certification in Adobe applications, or both!
As a marketer, your role is unique within the Solution Partner Program. Some marketers join because they want branding content to help market their company as an Adobe practice. Others join because they’re end users of Adobe applications and seek informational content. Many join for both reasons. Regardless of your path, learn more about the benefits available to you as a member of the Solution Partner Program.
How to build your company’s Adobe brand to help create pipeline
The following guidance and information will help you create pipeline and maximize your program benefits.
Market your practice
The first step in marketing your company as an Adobe practice is by exploring the Marketing Resources page of the Solution Partner Portal, where you’ll find:
- Adobe brand guidelines, logos for your company site, partner level badges, and other assets
- Industry analyst reports and research along with marketing promotion kits
These resources help position your practice and show customers and clients that your company offers Adobe Experience Cloud expertise.
Create or update your Adobe Partner Directory profile
The Adobe Partner Directory is our searchable public database and a top destination for customers researching Adobe Partners. If you are a Bronze level or above partner, generate leads and build pipeline for your company by creating a company profile in our Partner directory. If your company already has a profile, be sure to update it with fresh images and current descriptions of your offerings.
Understand the added benefits of Specializations and Accredited or Rapid Deployment Solutions
If your company qualifies to be a Specialized partner or to have Accredited or Rapid Deployment solutions, your practice will receive additional benefits from these two programs. For example, your company profile will be ranked higher in the Adobe Partner Directory.
- Specialization is a designation that your company has a past track record of success and a certain number of Adobe-certified individuals on staff. Specialized partners can also use Adobe product names in Google AdWords.
- Accredited and Rapid Deployment Solutions allow partners to collaborate with Adobe on packaging an existing solution into a repeatable, sellable offering. Accredited and Rapid Deployment solutions can help you create future pipelines from past success.
How to develop your skills and earn Adobe credentials
Adobe provides a single platform to manage, personalize, optimize, measure, and execute B2B and B2C campaigns across all channels. The Portal offers on-demand training to help you learn more about and begin to use the key applications in this platform that marketers use.
As you explore on-demand training in the Portal, you’ll see a variety of roles and Adobe applications that offer training and certifications. If you’re interested in learning product basics, positioning, and integrations, you can begin with Sales Accreditation, which we recommend for anyone in any role who is new to a product. You can earn this credential at no cost, often in just a couple of hours.
The Adobe applications on which you focus may depend on your company’s implementation roadmap. However, many marketers pursue training and certification in multiple Adobe applications to develop knowledge about multi-application integrations. Generally, marketers fit best in what we call the business practitioner role.
We offer numerous Credential Journeys for marketing business practitioners who want to take and pass Adobe certification exams.
Recommended Adobe applications for marketers to learn
The following overview briefly describes each Adobe application in which we believe a marketer may wish to develop expertise through training and certification. We’ve included a direct link to the Credential Journey ideal for a marketer for each application. You can also visit the Credential Journey page and choose from the application list to learn more about each application and view resources such as:
- Step-by-step Credential Journeys that include on-demand training to help you prepare for — and pass — the exam
- Exam pages that detail the topics covered—most include sample tests you should attempt before taking the real exam
- Study resources that point to specific training you should complete to pass the exam
Generally, Adobe certifications are offered at the Professional and Expert levels. Read the exam guides to see how your experience and application knowledge align with each level.
